The Almonds & Corals Lodge is a tent camp set within a secluded enclave of dense jungle and swaying palm trees located within Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. Beaches of sugar-white sand, bordered by palms trees and a turquoise sea, make this wilderness area a paradise for nature lovers. Add a restaurant with excellent meals and a marvelous staff and camping might not be so rustic after all.

Passages on stilts connect the 20 tents to the office, restaurant and nearby white sand beach. Nestled beneath a thick forest canopy, each tent sits on a platform of stilts and is protected by a roof and mosquito netting. The Almonds & Corals Lodge features tents equipped with electricity and night lamps, a fan, two beds, a hammock, a small table with two chairs, and a nearby bathroom.

At the Almonds & Corals Lodge, dining is a truly romantic experience as guests savor tropical delights served on an open terrace by a professional chef. Guests may relax by the light of the moon, wineglass in hand, listening to the exotic sounds of the deep jungle. A traveling bar-cart serves exotic fruit cocktails to guests as they relax on the beach.

Guests may take advantage of the many trails that crisscross the park to observe a wide variety of plant and animal life before heading to the glass-like waters of the warm Caribbean for a relaxing swim or some exciting snorkeling.

At the Almonds & Corals Lodge, a wide range of tours and activities are available for guests to enjoy. These include sea or river kayaking, snorkeling tours, hiking and jungle walks, biking, horseback riding, a canopy tour, and a visit to Cahuita National Park.
