La Paloma Lodge is perched on a high ridge overlooking the Pacific Ocean and nearby Caño Island, on Costa Rica's isolated Drake Bay. The resort extends over twelve richly landscaped acres and is surrounded by dense tropical rainforest. Guests may enjoy rainforest hikes, year-round flowers, colorful birds and butterflies, star-filled skies and majestic views of turquoise seas.

Following a scenic boat ride along the mangrove-lined Sierpe River, guests are warmly welcomed at the dock by La Paloma’s attentive and friendly staff.

All of the rooms and ranchos at La Paloma Lodge feature queen and single orthopedic beds, hot water showers provided by solar heaters, ceiling fans, private bath, spacious balconies with hammocks, varnished hardwood floors and a breathtaking view of Drake Bay. Five deluxe ranchos lie nestled within lush vegetation maximizing privacy and seclusion.

There are no restaurants here, meals are served family style and include a delicious variety of seafood, chicken, vegetarian fare, and fresh fruit.

La Paloma Lodge offers an exciting variety of activities and tours for guests to choose from, these include a visit to mysterious Caño Island for an unforgettable snorkeling experience, and a guided trek into the world famous Corcovado National Park.
