| The
Hotel Heliconia offers an ideal setting for visitors seeking peace and tranquility
amid a quiet mountain retreat. The Hotel Heliconia is located near Monteverde
Cloud Forest Preserve and Santa Elena Rain Forest Reserve, two of the most
beautiful protected forests in Costa Rica. The Heliconia’s main building is located high on a hill and features 32 spacious rooms of all wood construction. Every room has a single and a double bed with orthopedic mattress, generous storage, a private safe for valuables, private bathroom with hot water, and bathtub. Some rooms offer large picture windows and/or terraces with spectacular views of the surrounding forest. The Hotel Heliconia restaurant specializes in regional Italian cuisine, and even has its own traditional wood burning pizza oven. Guests may choose between a wide selection of menu options that include pastas, pizzas, salads, seafood, vegetarian and meat dishes.
