Departure by Ground Transportation

Daybreak welcomes you with the sound of scattered birdcalls playing two-part harmony with the soft rippling of the river. Snug within your bed, you gaze out through ample windows at the lush vegetation surrounding the lodge. If you’ve requested room service the night before, a delicious and aromatic cup of coffee will be awaiting you at your bungalow door, urging you out of your bed and on to a healthy and generous breakfast served at 8:00 a.m. Then, why not take part of the morning to go out into the tropical forest to hike, relax, or take an optional tour.

Departure from the lodge is at 11:00 a.m., traveling back to the main road by four-wheel-drive and then by microbus to San José. Travel time is estimated at two and a half hours, and includes a traditional Caribbean lunch.
