The next morning you’ll awaken relaxed and refreshed
by a good night’s slumber that only nature can provide. The sound
of the rushing river and the melodious call of tropical birds are a perfect
backdrop to a delicious breakfast buffet awaiting you at the start of
the final day of your river expedition. The second day of rafting is even
more thrilling than the first, as this portion of the river offers an
exciting mixture of class III and class IV rapids amid spectacular scenery.
Along the way you will have the opportunity to stop and explore side streams
that lead to amazing waterfalls and pools with a natural waterslide that
entices you to jump right in. At midday a tasty meal of sandwiches, fruits
and dessert will be served on an overturned raft along the water’s
edge. You will end this marvelous day with an overwhelming sense of accomplishment
at having taken on one of the wildest and most scenic rivers in the world.
At our private river take-out facilities, you will have a chance to change
into dry clothes before boarding the comfortable microbus for your return
to San José.
